After announcing merger with Houston co., Denver energy company switches CEO
Magellan Petroleum Corp. is making more waves as it announces another change in its operations with a new CEO. After the announcement of its merger with Houston’s Tellurian Investments Inc., Magellan reported that their new CEO is now their previous CFO Antoine Lafargue. Lafargue replaces former CEO J. Thomas Wilson and according to the company, Lafargue will be the CEO until the merger is enforced. Once the deal is completed in the last quarter of the year, the new company that would be developed will be led by one of Tellurian’s founders CharifSouki as its chairman while his co-founder Martin Houston will stand as the company’s president.
