Energy trader’s new Houston office designed to resemble a museum

Despite the fact the year is filled with bankruptcies and downsizing in the energy industry in Houston, Switzerland’s Vitol Inc. has moved into their newest Houston office space in Kirby Grove. The office in Houston is Vitol’s US headquarters and its design – designed by PDR Corp. – even won an award from the AIA Houston Design Awards. According to the Houston-based architecture firm, they have worked with the energy company for the past 25 years and working with Vitol is easy as its CEO appreciates good architecture and art.
