Houston manufacturing co. inks large industrial sublease

The industrial sector of Houston is currently making some progress as the number of subleases in the sector is now growing despite the debates regarding the availability of new offices. One of the companies currently subleasing is JV Industrial which is now subleasing 90,140 square feet in a facility in Almeda Genoa Road. The space was subleased from Fortitude Manufacturing LLC which has a location close to Clear Lake area. So far, the available sublease space in the market meant for the industry is 3.5 million square feet from last year’s 1.6 million square feet. However, the sublease market remains small according to CBRE.
