Houston named top city for minority startup businesses

If you are a minority startup, you would thrive very much in Houston. According to the analysis of Biz2Credit regarding the country’s Diversity Index, Houston is at rank 5 in their list. The study involved 18,000 small businesses and the rankings were based from the likelihood of business owners with different ethnic backgrounds and how the revenue is spread. The group discovered that Houston currently has a very diverse mix of entrepreneurs which makes its economy grow. Most of these minority groups are East Asian entrepreneurs. Currently, it is Sacramento which is on top of the list given its large percentage of Asian and Hispanic businesses.
