Houston’s first major micro-unit condo project shifts direction

Micro-unit condominium developer Novel Creative Development is shifting its gears for its current project. When they first announced their project in 2015, they believed that they will be able to get a market that would purchase all 550 units for their newest building. However, after a few months, their competitor has secured more contracts despite Novel’s cheaper units. They are now going to revise the design of the condo building and introduce the condo hotel concept in their Houston location so that their owners can rent their homes to visitors when they are not in the city. This new project is expected to be released after the Labor Day celebrations.
