Saudi co. leases more space as it moves U.S. HQ to Houston
The Saudi Basic Industries Corp is currently expanding its office space in the Westchase District as part of their transfer to Houston. Known for being one of the largest petrochemical producers, the company moved their offices from Massachusetts to Houston in order to provide more working room for its employees and development. It is estimated that the company will have 300 employees by the end of the year. The company’s vice chairman and CEO Yousef Al-Benyan remarked that the company is considering more investents for the region and having Houston serve as their headquarters, it will allow them to cater to more to the North and South American clientele.
