See who attended the Houston Business Journal’s nonprofit panel

When it comes to giving, Houston knows how to give and this is seen in the recent Houston Business Journal’s July 29 Power Breakfast on nonprofits. The event was jam packed as 300 attendees filled the Junior League for the discussions. According to the CEO and president of the Livestock Show and Rodeo Joel Cowley, there is something in Houston that makes people happy to give to charity and the nonprofit organizations in the area will attest to it. A panel was also held for the event, discussing the various factors affecting donations and how people can help out, as well as ways on how it can be remedied.
